How to submit a notice
A valid DMCA notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and sufficient information to allow us to locate it — URLs, asset IDs, or character / generation identifiers are ideal.
- Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right alleged to be infringed.
We may remove or disable access to the identified material upon receipt of a compliant notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the district where you reside (or Denver County, Colorado, if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content after the statutory waiting period unless the original complainant files suit.
Repeat infringers
We may terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously infringe copyrights, consistent with our Content Removal Policy.
