AI Product Ad Generator: One Character, Your Product

A product ad has two consistency problems: the face and the product. We ran both through one generation to see if the handbag stayed on-model.

AI-generated editorial product ad of a character presenting a pink designer handbag
Generated in socialAF with the Nova character plus a product reference. qwen-image-2.0-pro, 2 credits.

What we ran

Pairing the saved character with a referenced product image produced an editorial ad where the specific pink handbag rendered faithfully as the hero of the frame, at 2 credits.

We passed the product photo as a reference alongside the character. The generated ad kept the bag recognizable as the same product, held at chest height as the focal point, with the character behind it. The product did not morph into a generic bag, which is the usual failure.

How to reproduce·generate_image with the saved character plus the product image as a reference. Prompt gist: editorial product ad, product held to camera as the hero, 4:5.

An ad with two consistency problems

A small brand wants an ad image: a recognizable face presenting a specific product. The constraint that breaks most generators is the product. The face can be invented, but the handbag has to be that handbag, not a lookalike.

Two anchors: a face and a product photo

We gave the generator two anchors: the saved character for the face and a single product photo as a reference image. The prompt asked for an editorial ad with the product as the hero of the frame.

Routing landed on the character model at 2 credits, returned synchronously, with no safety blocks.

The bag rendered as the bag

The bag rendered as the same product, the right color and silhouette, held at chest height as the focal point. The character stayed on-model behind it.

The failure we expected, the product drifting into a generic bag, did not happen. Referencing the product image is what held it.

Add reference angles for fine detail

One reference image was enough for a simple product. For a product with text, a logo, or fine hardware, we would add more reference angles so the small details stay correct.

We would also generate two or three variants and pick, since composition varies more than identity does.

FAQ

Common questions about AI product ad generator.

Can the ad show my actual product?

Yes. Pass your product photo as a reference image. In our run the referenced handbag rendered as the same product rather than a generic stand-in.

How many product references do I need?

One was enough for a simple bag. Products with logos, text, or fine hardware benefit from multiple angles.

Does the same character work across many products?

Yes. The saved character stays constant while you swap the product reference, so a brand ambassador can present a whole catalog.

What did the ad image cost?

2 credits on the character model, returned in a single call.

Can the ad show my exact product packaging?

Yes. Pass a clear photo of the packaging as a reference and it renders as the same product, including its color and shape, rather than a generic stand-in.

Can I export the ad in multiple sizes?

Generate the same scene in 1:1 and 4:5 for feeds and 9:16 for stories, all with the same character and product so the set stays consistent.
