AI Voiceover Generator: A Voice That Matches the Face

A character with no voice is half built. We generated a scripted voiceover in our saved character's own voice to see how cheap and fast a matched voice track really is.

What we ran

A scripted voiceover in the saved character's voice rendered for 0.1 credits in about nine seconds, tied to the same Nova who appears in our images and videos.

We typed a few lines and Nova read them back in a consistent voice. At 0.1 credits a clip, voicing a full script in pieces costs almost nothing, and the voice belongs to the same character as the visuals.

How to reproduce·generate_voice with the saved Nova character and a short script. The clip uses the character's default voice.

A face without a voice is half a character

Most AI character work stops at the image. But a creator persona that never speaks cannot host a video, read an ad, or narrate a tutorial. The voice is not a nice-to-have, it is the other half of the character.

The trap is using a generic stock voice that does not match the face you built. A mismatched voice breaks the illusion faster than a bad image does.

Generating the voiceover

We typed a short script and generated it in Nova's own voice through text-to-speech. No recording booth, no voice actor.

The clip came back in about nine seconds for 0.1 credits, tied to the same saved character as her images.

What a tenth of a credit buys

At 0.1 credits per clip, voicing a whole script is effectively free. You can regenerate a line that did not land without thinking about cost.

The speed matters too. A nine-second turnaround means voiceover stops being the bottleneck in a video workflow.

Verdict

Match the voice to the character

Use the character's own voice, not a generic preset, so the audio and the visuals feel like one person. Keep scripts conversational and short per clip.

Once the character has a consistent voice, it can narrate, host, and present, not just pose.

FAQ

Common questions about AI voiceover generator.

Can the voice match my AI character?

Yes. We generated the voiceover in the saved character's own voice, so the audio matches the face rather than using a generic stock voice.

How much does a voiceover cost?

Our clip was 0.1 credits and took about nine seconds. Voicing a full script in pieces costs very little.

Do I need a microphone or voice actor?

No. You type the script and the character reads it back through text-to-speech.

Can the same voice drive a talking video?

Yes. The voice feeds lip-sync, so the same character can speak on camera as well as narrate.

Can the AI voice match my character's look?

Yes. The voiceover uses the saved character's own voice, so the audio matches the face instead of a generic stock voice.

How long can an AI voiceover script be?

Up to several thousand characters per clip. Keep individual lines conversational, and regenerate any that do not land for a fraction of a credit each.
